KUALA LUMPUR, April 10 – Malaysians are rejoicing today as they come together to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri, announced by the Keeper of the Rulers’ Seal, Tan Sri Syed Danial Syed Ahmad. The announcement came after the sighting of the crescent moon this evening, following consultations with the Malay Rulers and the royal assent from Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim.
Hari Raya Aidilfitri marks the conclusion of Ramadan, the sacred month in Islam where Muslims observe daily fasting from dawn to dusk. It is a time of joyous celebration, reflection, and gratitude as families and friends gather to break their fasts and seek forgiveness, spreading love and kindness throughout the community.
