KUALA LUMPUR, June 17 — Time has introduced new fibre broadband options with a shorter 12-month contract, catering specifically to renters. This initiative offers a lower barrier to entry compared to its previous “No contract” option, as Time provides a free WiFi 6 router and free installation, making it more accessible for renters who prefer shorter commitments.
The 12-month contract includes three plan options: 200Mbps for RM119/month, 600Mbps for RM159/month, and 1Gbps for RM219/month, with the latter two plans offering upload speeds of 500Mbps. Unlike other providers that charge full subscription fees for early termination, Time’s new plan aligns with typical yearly rental leases, providing flexibility and reducing the risk of hefty termination fees.
Additionally, Time offers free relocation after the 12-month contract period, and the 1Gbps plan includes an extra WiFi 6 Mesh worth RM599.
