SHAH ALAM, June 23 – The Faculty of Medicine at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and the University College of MAIWP International (UCMI) have officially entered into a bilateral cooperation through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This historic agreement, signed at the Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Chancellery at UiTM Shah Alam, marks a significant step forward in medical education collaboration between the two institutions.
The MoU, signed by Professor Datuk Dr. Shahrin Sahib@Sahibuddin, Vice Chancellor of UiTM, and Professor Dr. Wan Mohd Azizi bin Wan Sulaiman, Vice Chancellor of UCMI, will facilitate UCMI Foundation students to pursue undergraduate medical studies at UiTM’s Faculty of Medicine with full scholarships provided by MAIWP through the UiTM Seat Plus initiative. This collaboration also opens avenues for postgraduate programs and future partnerships across UiTM’s extensive network of faculties and academic centers, enhancing educational opportunities and fostering academic excellence.
