KUALA LUMPUR, July 6 — Maybank has launched a new feature on its MAE app, allowing users to manage multiple M2U accounts from a single device. This enhancement aims to streamline banking for sole proprietors who previously had to use separate devices for each business account. With the Single Device Access feature, users can now link up to 5 M2U accounts within the MAE app, providing them with a consolidated view of their financial activities and saving time on online banking operations.

Head of Maybank’s Community Financial Service Malaysia, Datuk Hamirullah Boorhan, emphasized the convenience and security benefits of the new feature. Each M2U access linked to the MAE app retains its own Secure2u for transaction approval, ensuring robust security measures are in place. Users can seamlessly switch between accounts and validate transactions directly within the MAE app, enhancing both efficiency and peace of mind.

To utilize the Single Device Access feature, users are required to update their MAE app to version 0.9.25 or higher, available for download on the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Huawei App Gallery. This update underscores Maybank’s commitment to providing innovative solutions that cater to the evolving needs of its customers in the digital era.
