KUALA LUMPUR, July 19 — ViewQwest, a leading internet service provider for residential and business areas, has demonstrated its capability to offer internet speeds up to 10Gbps. The company showcased various speed tests, including Speedtest, a 10GB file download, and the digital game Civilization VI from Steam. The tests consistently achieved speeds between 1.3Gbps and 1.6Gbps over wireless connections, with even higher speeds on wired connections.
Unlike previous reports about Orient Telcoms, ViewQwest’s 10Gbps offering is tailored to meet the specific needs of high-speed broadband users and businesses. Currently, the availability of the 10Gbps plan depends on the customer’s location and the existing bandwidth and customer base. Starting at RM1800 per month, with additional costs for necessary equipment like fiber connections and WiFi7 routers, ViewQwest’s bespoke approach ensures optimal performance and configuration for each customer.
The 10Gbps plans will initially be offered in select locations, with expansion planned soon. For more details, visit the ViewQwest Malaysia website.
