CUPERTINO, August 6 — Apple has released macOS Sonoma 14.6, introducing dual external display support for the 14-inch M3 MacBook Pro. This long-awaited feature allows users to connect and run two external displays even while the laptop is in clamshell mode, or with its lid closed.
Previously, this capability was only available on the M3 MacBook Air models, but the latest update extends this functionality to the 14-inch M3 MacBook Pro. In addition to the dual display support, macOS Sonoma 14.6 also includes critical security updates addressing various vulnerabilities. While none of these issues have been reported as actively exploited, Apple advises users to install the update promptly to ensure their systems are secure.
