Apple is expected to hold an October event to announce the launch of its M4 Macs and new iPads, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. The tech giant plans to update its MacBook Pro, iMac, and Mac mini with the M4, M4 Pro, and M4 Max chips, alongside a new iPad mini and potentially an iPad 11. The event would mark the fourth October announcement in the last five years.
Notable updates include a redesigned Mac mini, nearly as small as an Apple TV, and a seventh-generation iPad mini featuring improved performance, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3. The lower-end iPads are also expected to receive hardware upgrades.
