KUALA LUMPUR, September 24 — Maxis eKelas continues its push to inspire STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) interest among Malaysian school students through its annual Misi Jelajah Digital (MJD) competition. This year’s challenge encourages students to design a digital advocacy campaign using Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) tools, fostering critical skills needed for Malaysia’s competitive future under the country’s new Digital Education Policy.
Themed “GenAI for Good,” MJD 2024 focuses on students creating campaigns supporting the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Participants are tasked with selecting one of the 17 SDGs and using their research, prompt engineering, and creative skills to advocate for sustainable development, promoting the responsible use of AI in real-world contexts. Maxis eKelas, an after-school learning initiative, remains committed to enhancing students’ academic performance and future readiness through innovative educational programmes.
