PUTRAJAYA, October 7 – Heriot-Watt University Malaysia has made several strategic leadership appointments aimed at strengthening academic excellence and driving innovation. The new appointments align with the university’s Strategy 2035, which focuses on delivering world-class education to prepare students for a globalised job market.
Among the key appointments is Professor Dr Lai Yin Ling as Deputy Provost, bringing extensive experience in business development and global programme accreditation. Additionally, Mr Alex Lim joins as Regional Director of Marketing Recruitment, Admissions & Communications, while Dr Jimmy Tam assumes the role of Head of the School of Social Sciences, focusing on programme delivery and staff development. These leaders are expected to enhance the institution’s academic offerings and international presence.
