DUBAI, May 13 — Emirates has completed the first installation of next-generation Starlink Wi-Fi on its Airbus A380 fleet.
Marking a major leap in inflight connectivity with speeds of up to 2 Gbps and free internet access for all passengers.
The upgraded system features three antennas and enhanced onboard infrastructure, enabling seamless streaming, gaming, and browsing at 40,000 feet.
The rollout will expand across more A380 aircraft in 2026, with future upgrades expected to support live TV streaming.
Emirates said the move is part of its broader effort to enhance passenger experience through fleet upgrades and digital innovation.
