KUALA LUMPUR, June 16 — Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) is inviting landowners, developers and members of the public to submit proposals for amendments to the Kuala Lumpur Local Plan 2040 (PTKL2040).
Mayor Fadlun Mak Ujud said interested parties must submit a Letter of Intent by July 10, outlining the proposed changes, supporting justifications and relevant land documents.
He said the amendment process aims to ensure urban planning policies remain aligned with current development needs and economic challenges.
DBKL has also introduced new redevelopment incentive guidelines for Kuala Lumpur, which took effect immediately and are available through its official website and planning portals.
