GEORGE TOWN, June 16 — Sony continued its nationwide roadshow in Penang with an exclusive preview of the new Sony Alpha 7R VI and Sony FE 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 GM OSS, bringing together photographers, videographers and content creators at Amari SPICE Penang.
The event featured product demonstrations, hands-on shooting sessions and discussions on visual storytelling, highlighting how the latest Sony Alpha technology can be used across genres ranging from urban photography to wildlife and nature.
Participants also learned about Sony’s ongoing Nature In Focus Contest, which encourages photographers to capture compelling stories through different perspectives and remains open for entries until July 31.
The Penang programme continued the following day with a dedicated bird photography workshop at Penang Bird Parkled by Alpha Guru Apiq Sulaiman, attendees were introduced to bird photography fundamentals, camera settings, autofocus and subject-tracking techniques.
While gaining practical experience photographing birds in a live environment. Sony thanked the local creative community for its strong participation and acknowledged the support of industry partners. including Aputure, Amaran and Nanlite, in making the Penang showcase and workshop a success.
