SEREMBAN, March 1 – Toll collection on the Kajang-Seremban Highway (Lekas) will go fully electronic at noon tomorrow. Toll is collected at six plazas on the highway, namely Kajang Selatan, Semenyih, Pajam, Mantin, Setul and Ampangan. Lekas said in a statement that motorists paying cash who enter the highway at any of the plazas before noon tomorrow have until midnight on March 3 to make use of the cash-paying facility.
It said this is taken into consideration for users who stop at the rest and service areas during the period. Lekas said it would distribute 50,000 Touch ‘n GO cards free of charge and users would only have to pay for the minimum credit entered into the cards depending on the type of vehicles. It also said that the ‘Top-up Lane’ and sale of Touch ‘n Go cards on the highway would operate round the clock.
