CAMERON HIGHLANDS, March 13 – The Penang Barisan Nasional (BN) Sunday declared its stand to continue supporting Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak as he faces current political challenges. Its chairman Teng Chang Yeow said Penang BN as well as its Youth and Women’s wings fully supported Najib as the Prime Minister.
He said any attempt to oust Najib as the Prime Minister outside of a general election goes against the principles of democracy which BN upholds. He told this to the reporters on the last day of Penang BN retreat at a hotel here which began last Friday. Present were 44 Penang BN committee members including Federal Territories Deputy Minister Senator Datuk Loga Bala Mohan and head Penang opposition chief Datuk Jahara Hamid.
