KEMAMAN, October 23 — A 23-year-old student battling stage four brain cancer fulfilled his wish to attend his graduation after completing a two-day ambulance journey from Perlis to Terengganu.
Muhammad Afiq Mohd Hairul Fahmy, who requires oxygen support, graduated with a Bachelor of Information Technology with Business Management (Honours) from TATI University College.
His parents arranged the journey through Selangor after doctors advised against air travel due to his medical condition.
Accompanied by his family, Afiq received the Special Aegrotat Award at the university’s 26th Convocation Ceremony on Oct 10, marking a significant personal achievement despite his illness.
