KUALA LUMPUR, May 31 – Daughter of Anwar Ibrahim asked for full access to visit her father when he is due to be admitted to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) next week. Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim daughter, Nurul Nuha said that Anwar health condition is deteriorating. They expected that their father will be warded on Tuesday.
Besides Nurul Nuha, there are also present of Anwar’s another two other daughters which is PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah and Nurul Hana during the press conference. Anwar’s lawyer R. Sivarasa reported that he has lost 6kg since his imprisonment but he is still currently serving a five-year jail sentence for his second sodomy conviction.
“I would like to urged the Home Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to allow Anwar to be warded for as long as he is required to in the hospital. The government was failure to grant wish against Anwar’s rights in getting fair medical treatment,” said Sungai Petani MP Datuk Johari Abdul during the press conference held at PKR headquarters in Petaling Jaya.
