KUALA LUMPUR, June 6 – The responding of the PAS decision is to cut down the ties between DAP and PAS. Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng was informed for the resignation of PAS representatives in the Penang state government.
“The resignations was “inevitable” as PAS have been made the decision during their muktamar today. They are decided to sever their ties with DAP while remaining in Pakatan Rakyat without any debate”, said the DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng in a statement today.
“Meanwhile, the expected resignations of PAS that have represented from Penang State Government will be immediately accepted. It would not have any question to question on it because there does not have any impact on the stability, continuity and credibility of the Penang State Government,” he said.
“Lastly, I will also leave it to PAS to answer the seeming self-contradictory position of PAS severing their ties with DAP.Besides that, they will remain in PR when PR comprises of the three parties of DAP, PKR and PAS,” he added .
