KUALA LUMPUR, July 29 – The Bersih 2.0 Steering Committee will be organising the overnight street rally from 29 to 30 August and to call the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s resignation over his handling of 1MDB issues.
The Bersih 2.0 Chairman, Maria Chin Abdullah said that the rally wil be held at Kuala Lumpur, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu and they would also demand for institutional reforms and to end prime minister corruptions which had begun since former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
Malaysians are now paying a huge price for the RM42 billion scandal of 1MDB among other incidences of corruption, leakage and mismanagement. Bersih 2.0 Steering Committee said that the series of events over the past two days and the removal of Abdul Gani Patail as AG.
We invite all Malaysians to join the Bersih 4.0 Rally and to demand for Najib to resign and the institutional reforms to be implemented so as to end prime minister corruption. Datuk Seri Najib is taking every step to protect corruption.
