KUALA LUMPUR, Jul 31 – The new retail price for petrol and diesel for August will reduced by 10 sen per litre in August effective at midnight tonight. The new price after Goods and Services Tax (GST), the retail price of petrol and diesel for the month of August 2015 is as follows:
- RON95 : From RM 2.15/liter to RM 2.05/liter
- RON97 : From RM 2.55/liter to RM 2.45/liter
- DIESEL : From RM 2.05/liter to RM 1.95/liter
Malaysian Petrol Dealers Association deputy president Datuk Zulkifli Mokti said that the new new retail price for petrol and diesel will be effective from 12.01 am, Aug 1. Besides that, the announcement also refuted the irresponsible rumours on social media by certain parties which alleged the government would be increasing the price of the three types of fuel by as much as 35 sen per litre.
