KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 2 – Kuala Lumpur Police deputy chief Datuk Law Hong Soon hold a press conference at the Dang Wangi District Police headquarters said that the news of former attorney-general Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail had been arrested was just a rumour.
“I would like to urged public don’t make an unhealthy assumptions and speculations due to it may causes undesirable situations. If the matter was truth, we will make an announcement on this matter,” said Kuala Lumpur Police deputy chief Datuk Law Hong Soon.
Meanwhile, the Law also had responded the question from the reporters over the talk of Gani had arrested on yesterday morning. Besides that, the service of Abdul Gani Patail’s that had been tenure as the Attorney-General was terminated on last Monday due to his health reason. Former Federal Court judge Tan Sri Mohamed Apandi had been appointed as a new attorney-general to replaced Abdul Gani Patail.
