MUAR, Aug 12 – Former Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the pilgrims to pray for the country to remain peaceful and prosperous, as they were in the holy land of Mecca. He said they also need to pray for the country’s leaders to kept away from the action leads to peace.
“Please God give the state more prosperous, the economy improved, revenues are also abundant and grow in grace,” he said at a ceremony to celebrate the pilgrims / Hajjah organized by the Division pagoh at Dewan Sri Pekembar in pagoh here Tuesday. Earlier, Muhyiddin who is also Umno chief pagoh along the pilgrims pray Zuhr prayers and celebrations for pilgrims to pray for safety when performing the fifth pillar of Islam.
“Praying in the Holy Land of Mecca is figuratively a special opportunity for the prospective pilgrims would pray for their intentions than public know the reward is great. When residing in Makkah will have an incredible feeling, especially when you see the Kaaba, located in the Prophet’s Mosque and the Tomb of the Prophet (Medina). Therefore, pray always, every time,” he said. At the event, Muhyiddin also presented consolation and equipment to do the pilgrimage to 74 pilgrims and Hajjah.
