KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 29 – DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng said the Bersih 4 in the capital as a rally to “Save Malaysia”. He said during his speech in front of the protesters near Dataran Merdeka today about the Malaysia is dying and rally today is to save Malaysia. Penang Chief Minister was still participating in the rally in Kuala Lumpur even been declared illegal by the police for violating the terms of the Peaceful Assembly Act 2012.
Prior to this, the organizers of the rally Bersih 4 states apolitical but some political leaders also been giving a speeches including the president of the People’s Justice Party (PKR) Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, a member of New Hope Movement (GHB) Dr Mohd Hatta Ramli, secretary-general Rafizi Ramli and GHB chairman Mohamad Sabu.
