KLANG, Aug 30 – A non-governmental organization has lodged a police report against former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad for his actions attended Bersih 4 at Dataran Merdeka yesterday. The report was made non-pensionable Army Veterans Association at Selangor police headquarters in Klang Selatan here.
President of the association, Raja Kamaruddin Raja Abdul Wahid said Dr Mahathir’s ‘down’ to join the rally is like encouraging people to participate. The question is, why did he have to go to the rally concerned. In my opinion, the action is not necessary and even he should not come immediately,” he said.
“When Dr Mahathir arrived, people gathered indirectly likens his presence as a ‘head’,” he told reporters after lodging the report. Yesterday, Dr Mahathir reportedly present at the gathering were classified as illegal accompanied by his wife, Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali.
