KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 26 – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak in his Twitter on Thursday said that the Federal Government would like to assist those victims who affected by the floods in Penang on Wednesday. He said he wants the authorities to ensure the drainage system in the state was smooth to prevent such incidents from recurring.
On Wednesday, there were several areas around Penang was experienced the flash floods and mudslide after more than five hours of rain. Among the areas affected were Jalan Bayan Lepas to Teluk Kumbar, Batu Maung, Bukit Gambir, Bayan Lepas, Paya Terubong, Air Itam and several roads in George Town.
