KEMAMAN, Sept 27 – The Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Ministry Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek has directed its agencies to make early preparations to ensure adequate food supply is available in the event of flood in this coming November.
He told reporters when attending a bird (zebra dove) trapping competition at Felda Nerang Satu on Saturday said that the ministry would also cooperate with several related ministries to ensure the food would be sent to all flood relief centres if flood took place. He added that the food supply will be sent earlier to forward bases to be distributed to flood relief centres.
