GEORGE TOWN, Oct 2 – Friday demonstrations so call as Penang Red Rally turn up fail in Komtar, Penang. Number of people including reporters and police were more than the red people which causes the protester flash back after few protester arrival in the Komtar.
This demonstration about Penang Islamic Religious that had decided to prohibit the use of external loudspeaker at mosques and prayer rooms but was misled into state government issue, which leads people to show up in red at the state government administration building.
The Red Shirt Rally had widely rumoured that after the Friday prayer time 2:00pm, they will be gather at Komtar for the demonstrations. Except the reporters, police also sent several police officers stationed at the scene. Besides that, the people of 916 was also selling Red Shirt Rally cloth at Komtar multi-storey carpark on the ground floor.
When the seller been ask, they say they are from Kuala Lumpur which travelled to Penang today. The seller said they have only sell two cloth at there while each cloth costed at RM20. All of the press member was waiting for around 35 minutes but the protester still coming. So, they decided reopen the operation of the Komtar.
