GEORGE TOWN, Oct 8 – A generic officer receive a bomb from a Malay man on Thursday afternoon at Penang Northeast District Ayer Itam Police Station. All the police was running to next station after they receive the bomb from the Malay man at the police station this afternoon.
At 2:00 pm during the month of August 2015, the complainant, Malay man, 33 , was found a bomb in a black plastic bag in the forest of the Ayer Itam Dam. The complainant has brought the bomb back to home Jalan Thean Teik Ayer Itam, Penang with keeping the bomb for two months.
After the advice from a friend, the complainant brought the bomb to the police station to be handed in Ayer Itam police on Oct 8, 2015 at 12:45 pm. All the police was running to next station after they receive the bomb from the Malay man at the police station this afternoon.
The assessment bomb disposal unit found that the bomb is not active while the bomb was about to fight the type of Mortar Shell Illuminating. It is s used for decomposition of light is not an object for removal. On 10/08/15, at 3:15 pm, an army bomb disposal unit was blowed the bomb with smooth and safe while there were no damage to public property.
