ALOR SETAR, Oct 19 – Deputy International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Ahmad Maslan who is also UMNO information told reporters after attending the 2015 North Zone UMNO President Cup Oratory Competition on Sunday that the revenue from the Goods and Services Tax (GST) will be returned to the people via numerous programmes to help boost their income.
“This is because the people wanted the proceeds of GST returned to them in numerous forms. Programmes such as e-rezeki, which was launched previously, can help boost the income of the people. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak would also divulge the revenue collected from GST when tabling the 2016 Budget on Friday,” said Ahmad Maslan.
