KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 24 –The low horizontal visibility of less than three kilometres over the waters off Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Perak and Selangor is expected to persist till Sunday. According in a statement of the Malaysian Meteorological Department here on Friday said the same condition also occurred in the northern part of the Straits of Melaka. The statement stated that this condition is dangerous to ships that are not equipped with navigational equipment.
