GEORGE TOWN, Oct 28 – State Housing, Town and Country Planning Committee chairman Jagdeep Singh hold a press conference on Tuesday said Penang State Government will be came up with the balance of RM40,000 from his constituency funds to top up the cost for the lift installation project at Wisma Lam Hong residents.
“The total cost for the lift installation project comes to RM335,000 while the 96 units forked out RM295,000. Therefore, we will came up with the balance RM40,000 from the constituency funds,” said Jagdeep during the groundbreaking ceremony for lift installation at Wisma Lam Hong residents here on Tuesday
Meanwhile, the vice chairman of the residents committee Mr. Neoh said yearnings of Wisma Lam Hong residents for a lift since the 1990s finally came true as Penang exco member Jagdeep Singh who’s also Datok Keramat assemblyman performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the lift installation.
