GEORGE TOWN, Nov 29 – State Local Government, Traffic Management and Flood Mitigation Committee chairman Chow Kon Yeow retained his post as Penang DAP chairman, followed by State Housing, Town and Country Planning Committee chairman Jagdeep Singh Deo is the state DAP deputy chief whereas the two vice-chairman’s are Deputy Chief Minister Prof Dr P. Ramasamy and Bukit Bendera MP Zairil Khir Johari.
Lim Hui Ying also retain her post as DAP secretary, followed by Bagan Dalam state assemblyman Tanasekharan is the state DAP assistant secretary. Penang State Tourism Development & Culture Danny Law Heng Kiang is chosen to be the new state party treasurer with Jeffrey Chew as his assistance. Won Hon Wai replaced Teh Yee Cheu as the new organising secretary while Lay Hock Penang and Goh Choon Keong are his assistance.
Ng Wei Aik is chosen to be the new publicity secretary with Syeerlena Abdul Rashid as his assistant, while Steven Sim Chee Keong is new political education director. Meanwhile, The committee members will be Lim Siew Khim, Soon Lip Chee, Phee Boon Poh, R.S.N. Rayer, Gooi Seong Kin and Lim Hock Seng. A total of 760 ballot paper were issued, with 760 votes, of which 47 were spoilt.
