KEPALA BATAS, Dec 6 – Persatuan Ummah Sejahtera Malaysia (PasMa) announced today that it will support Pakatan Harapan in the next general election. PasMa president Datuk Phahrolrazi Mohd Zawawi said the party was Pakatan Harapan supporter and gave the freedom to its members to choose any party in the coalition.
“PasMa would not support a solitary opposition party like PAS. Feud is not the issue here. We just will not support any solitary opposition party because we stick to the country’s system of two-cornered fight,” Phahrolrazi, who is also Pengkalan Kundor assemblyman told reporters after attending second PasMa Convention here yesterday.
Phahrolrazi said PasMa was ready to support any policies and efforts by Pakatan Harapan in the states under its administration, especially in Penang. He also urged that the Selangor government leadership to take the same stand as the Penang government to establish Pakatan Harapan state government.
