KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 11 – Dewan Merdeka in Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) chaotic when representatives from Perak giving a speech in a tone of questioning struggle Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad in UMNO. The commotion began when Datuk Hamzah Mohd Kassim said the success of UMNO today is not because a person named Mahathir. He said that was not because people called Mahathir. He said this as he greeted ‘boo’ by the other representatives in Dewan, just now.
To calm the situation UMNO permanent chairman, Tan Sri Badruddin Amiruldin said, “change the pages and read other topics.The past is past, it is important that we look into the future.” The situation calmed down after Hamzah no longer talk about the issue. UMNO General Assembly 2015 which entered its second day, followed by resuming the debate on the motion keynote UMNO president Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
