KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 13 – Some 20,000 packets of food and beverages were distributed to visitors and UMNO members attending the party’s general assembly at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) from Tuesday until Saturday. UMNO Welfare Bureau chairman Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim said more than 100 workers and volunteers were assigned to distribute the packages at PWTC. He said they are always sensitive in performing our responsibilities, which they consider as religious duties. He said this when approached by reporters here on Saturday.
