KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 15 – The news that the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) will conduct open interviews for the 2016/2017 intake at all police formations throughout the country as spread on the social media is false. PDRM Corporate Communications Head ACP Datin Asmawati Ahmad said the message was detected on Facebook and the Whatsapp application but Bukit Aman’s Recruitment Unit had never issued such information.
“Any announcement on intake to any position in the PDRM will only be made through the PDRM official portal, www.rmp.gov.my and the PDRM official Facebook as well as official media statements,” she said in a statement here today. Asmawati said Malaysians who are interested to apply for a post in the PDRM can do so through the Public Services Commission’s official portal, www.spa.gov.my. — Bernama
