LABUAN, Jun 10 – Labuan police issued a total of 30 summonses for a number of offences during an operation, code-named ‘Op Samseng Jalanan’ conducted at Jalan Tun Mustapha in the wee hours of Saturday. The primary aim was to nab road users who were operating their vehicle without licence and under the influence of alcohol among other violations.
Labuan police chief Supt. Adzhar Othman said the operation was conducted over a three-hour period, involving two officers and 12 other ranks. A total of 100 vehicles and motorcycles were inspected in the operation resulting in 145 individuals being screened. — Bernama
