IPOH, December 2 – The first cabinet meeting is scheduled to be held next Monday, said the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. According to him, the meeting must be held immediately as soon as the list is announced this evening. For me the priority is once the cabinet is arranged, I will call a cabinet meeting this Monday to set some rules (such as) how they manage the ministry, how they save, not spending more than usual. When the cost of imports can be reduced, the cost of livestock feed, chicken, fertilizer can be reduced,” he said when speaking at the People’s Feast with the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim near Muhammad Al-Fateh Mosque, Taman Jati here on Friday. Also present at the program was the Menteri Besar of Perak, Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad. Anwar also reiterated that the cabinet that will be announced will be smaller and no more special ambassadors will be appointed to save national funds.
