IPOH, March 13 – Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said, the President of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu), Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin needs to focus on his case including answering all the charges against him in court. “The Attorney General, MACC (Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission) has answered… what else does he want to say? “For me he (needs) to focus on the court case, answer in court, the charges have already been issued.
On Friday, Muhyiddin questioned how the Attorney General’s Department could make a decision earlier to prosecute him when he had not yet given any statement to the MACC. The former Prime Minister claimed that he knew the decision to prosecute him had been made by the government even though the investigation had not been completed. Anwar who is also the Chairman of Pakatan Harapan (PH) meanwhile reiterated his statement that he did not interfere in the matter.
