KUALA LUMPUR, February 2 – UOB Malaysia has achieved the prestigious GreenRE Platinum Certification for its new corporate headquarters, UOB Plaza 1 Kuala Lumpur. This recognition from GreenRE Real Estate marks a notable milestone, as UOB Plaza 1 becomes the first bank headquarters in Malaysia to attain the highest level of certification for sustainable design, construction, and wellness features.
The lantern-shaped office building, completed in September 2022, accommodates over 3,000 employees, emphasizing open collaborative spaces, advanced work environments, and a commitment to fostering a positive corporate culture.
