KUALA LUMPUR, May 16 – Smart Asia Chemical Bhd (“Smart Asia”) marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of its new manufacturing facility in Batu Gajah, Perak. The expansive 95,170 square feet facility underscores the company’s commitment to innovation and customer service, aiming to streamline manufacturing operations and boost capacity. Anticipating a remarkable 27.00 million-litre increase in annual manufacturing capacity for decorative paints and protective coatings, Smart Asia’s investment aligns with its growth strategy.
The strategic location of the Perak facility is poised to enhance customer accessibility within Central and Northern regions of Malaysia, fostering regional economic growth and job opportunities. YAB Menteri Besar Perak, Dato’ Seri Saarani Mohamad, praised the initiative’s contribution to the local economy, highlighting its alignment with the state’s development roadmap and industrial plans.
