KOTA KINABALU, June 11 — Sabah FC maintained their winning momentum in the early stages of the Liga Super, defeating Kuching City 2-1 at the Likas Stadium earlier today. Kuching City initially took the lead with an impressive goal by their import player, Pedro Henrique, in the 64th minute.
However, Sabah FC’s resilience shone through as they turned the game around with goals from Darren Lok in the 75th minute and Jafri Firdaus Chew in the 85th minute, denying Kuching City their first win of the season. Meanwhile, Penang FC recorded their third consecutive draw, ending 1-1 against PDRM FC at the Selayang Municipal Council Stadium, with Rodrigo Da Silva Dias equalizing after Ifedayo Olusegun’s opener for the home team.
