KUALA LUMPUR, June 19 — Tex Cycle Technology (M) Berhad (“Tex Cycle”), a leading waste management and recycling solutions provider, has announced the acquisition of Meridian World Sdn. Bhd. for RM 55 million. This strategic move, which includes a profit guarantee of RM 12.0 million for FY2024 and FY2025, aims to enhance Tex Cycle’s capabilities in chemical processing and wastewater treatment.
Meridian World, established in 1995, is renowned for its environmental engineering solutions, including wastewater and air pollution control, and comprehensive waste management services. The acquisition enables Tex Cycle to offer a broader range of services, strengthening its market position and commitment to sustainability. Group CEO Gary Dass expressed enthusiasm about the merger, highlighting its potential to drive innovation and operational excellence in the environmental management industry.
