Tan Yong Seng, Head of Customer Service – South East Asia at Swisslog, emphasized the importance of proximity to customers in today’s dynamic business environment. “This new office will allow us to provide even more responsive and personalized support to our customers in the northern region,” he said. The Penang office will feature an AutoStore demonstration unit, showcasing an innovative storage and retrieval system that maximizes storage density and flexibility.
The grand opening, attended by representatives from the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) and InvestPenang, highlights Swisslog’s role in advancing smart technology and Industry 4.0 initiatives in Malaysia, reinforcing the country’s position as a leading investment hub in the region.
