KUALA LUMPUR, August 8 — The Malaysian Research Accelerator for Technology & Innovation (MRANTI) has officially launched the 2024 cycle of its Global Accelerator Programme (GAP), inviting innovative companies to address critical global challenges aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. This year’s programme emphasizes solutions in food security, healthcare, and renewable energy, offering participants unique access to Malaysia’s National Technology and Innovation Sandbox (NTIS) and a chance to be nominated for the prestigious Earthshot Prize.

The 2024 GAP will support at least 20 companies, providing them with investment opportunities, expert workshops, and networking activities to enhance their growth. Hosted at ASBhive under the Asia School of Business, the programme also includes access to global and local investors, with an emphasis on practical support and real-time problem-solving to drive meaningful impact. The initiative, running from September to November, aims to accelerate the development of groundbreaking technologies that address pressing global issues.
