GEORGE TOWN, August 9 — Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow has embarked on a 10-day investment and trade mission to the United States, organized by InvestPenang. The mission, running from August 4 to 14, aims to strengthen ties with US investors, encourage the expansion of their Penang operations, and attract new investments.
During the first three days in San Jose, the Chief Minister and InvestPenang delegates held strategic meetings and site visits with major companies including MKS Instruments, AMD, and Synopsys. The delegation is scheduled to continue their visit to corporate headquarters in Seattle, Los Angeles, and San Diego over the remaining days of their mission.
