BANTING, August 18 — Exco YB Tuan V. Papparaidu proudly announced the ongoing Jobcare Career Carnival at Dewan Sri Jugra, Banting, organized by the Selangor State Employment Empowerment Committee in collaboration with PERKESO. This initiative, part of the Selangor State Government’s continuous effort to support job seekers and promote employment opportunities, has successfully attracted over 387 participants. Notably, 32 participants secured jobs, while 316 advanced to second-round interviews.
The event was attended by notable figures including Tuan Ismail Abi Hashim, Director of PERKESO Selangor; Puan Rahayu binti Ali, Assistant Director of UPEN Sectoral Division; and Cik Pavithra Mohanadas, Chief Coordinator of UPPS. The carnival featured 33 employers with booths showcasing 4,627 job vacancies and included ongoing job interviews throughout the day. The Selangor State Government extends its appreciation to the community’s enthusiastic response and encourages job seekers to participate in this valuable career development opportunity.
