GEORGE TOWN, September 13 — IJM Land Berhad has completed the latest enhancement works at Udini Roundabout, nine years after its last upgrade in 2015. This effort underscores IJM Land’s ongoing commitment to elevating Penang’s urban spaces, making the roundabout a visually captivating intersection at Jalan Masjid Negeri, Jalan Jelutong, Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah, and Jalan Tunku Kudin.
As part of the revamp, IJM Land introduced cubic sculptures representing their “Distinctively IJM” blue badge, symbolizing a commitment to quality and innovation. The roundabout now features restored “Welcome to George Town” LED signage, repainted for improved visibility, as well as fairy lights around the trees and lighting that highlights the existing bird sculpture, creating an enchanting evening display.
Goh Su Yin, General Manager (Northern Region) of IJM Land, stated, “The enhancement of Udini Roundabout is a testament to our dedication to creating urban landmarks that connect with the community while showcasing Penang’s unique character.” This project is another step in IJM Land’s mission to enrich public infrastructure with artistic and functional spaces.
