KUALA LUMPUR, October 3 – The Malaysian Football League (MFL) has officially released the Super League schedule for October and November 2024, covering matches from week 14 to week 16 (LS14-LS16). The fixtures will take place between October 25 and November 30, giving clubs ample time to prepare for logistical arrangements. This two-month schedule is part of MFL’s strategy to ensure smooth planning ahead of the 2024 Mitsubishi Electric AFF Cup, set to begin on December 8.

MFL noted that the AFF Cup dates were revised by the organizers, with the tournament now scheduled from December 8, 2024, to January 5, 2025, affecting the original Malaysian League calendar. As a result, MFL is currently exploring options to restructure the December fixtures while ensuring that clubs like Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT), Selangor FC, Terengganu FC, and Kuala Lumpur City FC, which are involved in various international tournaments, have sufficient preparation time.

MFL is also collaborating closely with the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) to address the impact of the AFF Cup schedule on domestic matches. Further updates on the remaining Super League fixtures for the 2024-2025 season will be announced soon.
