KUALA LUMPUR, October 29 – AmBank Group has reinforced its commitment to sustainability through a renewed CSR initiative at Zoo Melaka. The bank, through its AmGroup Foundation, has sponsored RM40,000 for the upkeep of two orangutans, Phat Phat and Mardhia, while also supporting an educational trip for 100 underprivileged students and 20 teachers.
AmBank’s employees volunteered in various activities, including a treasure hunt for students, mural painting, and creating hammocks for the orangutans. Shazman Shahid, Head of Group Corporate Communications, emphasized the bank’s dedication to wildlife preservation and inspiring future generations towards sustainability.
