KUALA LUMPUR, October 30 – SoftwareOne, a global leader in software and cloud solutions, has launched a new Cloud Competency Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS). This centre aims to accelerate digital transformation for businesses across Southeast Asia by offering expertise in AWS cloud services, including generative AI tools like Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Q. The centre will provide local support for cloud migration, application modernisation, and more, helping businesses leverage cutting-edge technology to innovate and scale efficiently.
David Tan, Regional Services Leader at SoftwareOne APAC, highlighted the strategic alignment with AWS’s regional expansion, stating that the centre will offer local businesses access to SoftwareOne’s global resources. Peter Murray, AWS Malaysia’s Country Manager, emphasized AWS’s commitment to supporting organisations in their digital transformation journeys. The Cloud Competency Centre will also help companies implement SoftwareOne’s AWS Landing Zone, enabling secure, scalable cloud environments within days.
